Services

Neurodiversity & SEN Support
When your child learns differently, the last thing they need is a programme that treats them like everyone else. We work with children navigating dyslexia, ADHD, autism, Down syndrome, and developmental delays — building skills, confidence, and independence through sessions designed entirely around them.

School Readiness Programme
Starting Primary 1 is a big leap. Our 4–6 week programme gives children aged 4–5 the practical, social, and emotional tools they need to walk in on day one feeling ready, not anxious. Small groups, focused skills, regular parent updates.

Individual Learning (Primary)
One child. One plan. One pace. Tailored support in phonics, reading, maths, writing, and homework for primary-aged children in international and local schools. Every session built around your child's learning style — not a standard curriculum. No pressure. No comparisons.

Social, Behaviour & Attention Skills
Reading a room. Sitting through a lesson. Managing big feelings. These skills don't come naturally to every child — and when they're missing, school and home both get harder. We help children build social thinking, attention, and self-regulation through 1:1 or small-group sessions.

Art Therapy
Some things children can't put into words. Through guided creative activities in a safe, judgement-free space, art therapy gives children another way to process what they're carrying. No artistic ability required — just a space to feel seen, heard, and a little lighter.

Our Approach
Built around your child — not a programme.
There are no rigid curriculums at Surge. Every plan starts with a child.
I'm Diptii Mehta, and I've been working with children and families in Hong Kong since 1998. Every child who walks through my door is different — and that's exactly how I teach.
There are no one-size-fits-all solutions here. I get to know your child, understand their strengths and their struggles, and build a plan that works specifically for them. When you work with me, your child isn't a case number. I know their name, their story, and what makes them light up.
- A student-parent-educator partnership — you're part of the process, not a spectator.
- Tools for home, not just sessions — you'll leave every meeting with something practical to try.
- Long-term relationships, not short courses — I stay with families for years because change takes time.

25 years. Hundreds of families. One belief.
Every child can thrive — when someone is willing to meet them where they are.

For Schools
Supporting the schools that support our children.
SEN specialist support for international and local schools across Hong Kong.
Your SENCO team is stretched. Your learning support coordinators are juggling growing caseloads every term. Parents want answers you don't always have time to give.
Surge partners with schools to strengthen what you already do — offering specialist capacity that fits around your team, not around ours.
- SEN screening and assessment for students who need a closer look.
- Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) developed in collaboration with your learning support team.
- Staff workshops, early intervention, and transition support for students moving between systems.

Why Families Choose Surge
The support we wish every child in Hong Kong had access to.
A different kind of learning support — one built on time, trust, and treating every child as an individual.
25+ Years in Hong Kong
Since 1998, I've worked with children and families across Hong Kong's international and local school systems. I know how the city's schools work, what they expect, and how to help your child navigate them — whether they're thriving or struggling to keep up.
One Child, One Plan
No rigid programmes. No standardised worksheets. Every session is built around your child's specific strengths, challenges, pace, and interests. We move at the speed they need — faster when they're ready, slower when they're not.
A Partnership With Parents
You're not just dropping your child off. You're joining a team. I share progress openly, give you tools to use at home, and work alongside your child's school to make sure everyone is rowing in the same direction.
Not sure where to start? That's okay.
The first conversation is just a conversation — 20 minutes, no pressure, no commitment. We'll talk about your child, what's been challenging, and whether Surge is the right fit. Most families leave the call with at least one practical thing to try at home, whether we end up working together or not.
Testimonials
"She got him back to his age standard."
"Ms. Diptii was a great help when my son changed from a German school to an English school. His reading and spelling skills were not close to his age group standard. She patiently introduced different methods and got him back to his standard within a very sufficient time. We can't thank her enough."

"More calm, confident, independent, and aware."
"We have been working with Ms. Diptii for a few months now. Her approach is refreshing and positive. Aside from working with our daughter, she has helped us with tips and techniques for everyday life. The most notable benefit has been that immediately after each session, our daughter is more calm, confident, independent and aware."
Megha
Mother of a 5-year-old
"A true advocate for our daughter."
"We were very fortunate to have Ms. Diptii as our daughter's special needs educator — and having her support to make the right choice in choosing a school that meets our child's needs. She is by far the most professional and knowledgeable person you could have on your side to navigate the international schools in Hong Kong. She cares deeply and is a true advocate for helping children."
